Unit Supply Cargo Rack (USCR)

Heavy-gauge, all bolted structural steel construction available in a variety of configurations to adapt to your ceiling height, warehouse layout, and forklift capacity (height and weight).

Bolted construction of members allows for replacement of damaged parts should serious collisions occur, and allows for reconfiguration of the racks where a move is necessary.

The knock-down construction for shipment purposes eliminates wasted space, maximizing transport effectiveness.

Forklift access to each pallet level is provided by way of front to rear runners, constructed from hot-rolled sections. NO MORE DUNNAGE!

The USCR Air Pallet Rack is finished as standard with a full hot-dipped galvanized exterior treatment to withstand the toughest environmental conditions, allowing installation of the racks both indoors and outside.

Dover Air Force Base

Problem: The need to increase floor space.

Solution: To save space by storing materials vertically.

Benefits: Space Savings, improved mobility functions, and increased productivity.

Product Used: Rapistak Unit Supply Cargo Rack (USCR).

Dover Air Force Base is a United States air force base located two miles southeast of the city of Dover, Delaware. They were in need of 463L Master Pallet Cargo Rack to store pallets for rapid deployment.

Designed for strategic and efficient storage of 463L Master pallets, ISU90 containers, and CONEX boxes they required a two tier system three sections wide. With a maximum shelf capacity of 12,000 pounds or 24,000 pounds per section and a height of 10 feet. The rack needed to be made of structural shapes to withstand the abuse that the airmen inflict during use. They also required that the rack be galvanized for future outside deployment. We were able to supply them exactly what was required with the ability to redeploy the system and expand the system if necessary.

By installing the Unit Supply Cargo Rack (USCR) Dover AFB was able to increase access times, reduce storage space, and increase service space for a safe and organized working environment.

Q-889 and Q-890 SOF SEAL Team Operations Facilities

Problem: The need for effective storage for ISU90 Containers and 463L Master Pallets.

Solution: Fully customized storage based on facility specifications.

Benefits: Increased productivity, space savings, and improved mobility functions.

Product Used: Rapistak Unit Supply Cargo Rack (USCR).

The Special Operations Forces (SOF), Sea, Air and Land (SEAL) Team Operations Facilities and the U.S. navy Siver Strand Training Complex in Coronado, CA is a major installation located across the bay from San Diego, CA.

Working with RQ Construction, Rapistak Corporation was asked to supply two identical projects consisting of one 7 section and one 9 section, 3 tiers high, Unit Supply Cargo Rack (USCR) for the storage of ISU90 Containers and 463L Master Pallets. The rack specifications called for exterior grade galvanized steel construction to support 12,000 pounds per level. The rack sections were to be installed inside the SEAL Team's Facilities to maximize storage space and increase floor space.

By using Rapistak's Unit supply Cargo Rack (USCR), the SOL SEAl Team was able to save 67% of ground level floor space, increase storage in less space, increase efficiency of mobility functions, and improve organization.
